Yesterday I talked about chalkboard paint. Today the subject is magnetic paint. Again there are several manufacturers and you can purchase it online or at the hardware store.
This is a thick paint that contains metal. Don’t use your best paintbrush. You will have to throw it away when you are done.
The reviews that I have read emphasize the need for several coats and you need strong magnets. You can paint an entire wall howevr, this seems to be more appropriate for smaller areas. Some ideas are a door, the inside of a cabinet door or a framed section of an office wall.
The magnetic paint which is a primer can be used in conjunction with the chalkboard paint. Create a message board where you can attach memos, photos etc.
