During our recent Snowmageddon I spent a lot of time shoveling, too much time trying to get my extremely slow internet connection to work and in between playing with my polymer clay. I made several rings and a pendant from a glass pearl I found in a parking lot. Here is a picture of the results.
Some of them I like better than others – that is what experimenting is about. I was trying for a bakelite look with the red ring. I like it and wear it a lot but it is not quite bakelite like, I need to experiment with my color recipe. And the green band is very skimpy looking but works as thumb ring.
Whatever your creative outlet, experiment! The result is often a pleasant surprise.
