This idea came just in time!! I just went through my cards thinking it was a shame to file them in the recycling bin !! And this year I had to run out and buy gift tags --
Now I'm going to fish them out of the recycling, make tags and pack them away with the Christmas stuff, and feel good about being green!!

I love this suggestion for recycling greeting cards.

I was thinking about also reinventing the greeting cards by cutting in half, gluing a blank piece of paper on the wrong side and using them again as a card or notes to send thru snail mail

I do think wrapping paper is a waste even though its pretty. I like giving gifts in a gift bag and I used to use the Sunday comics to wrap gifts but very few newspapers now have Sunday comics.

WOW -- looks a lot better all white .. the color makes him look old fashioned, and the white brings him up to date.
One could always add some color back by using a colored battery tea light.
